Nyaluk foundation is a social arm of Nyaluk medical center, founded to strengthen the behavior change communication towards health seeking behavior.

The Eye Care project seeks to build the already existing Nyaluk medical center gaps and limitations by championing awareness and creation of primary eye care services.

Our aim is to reach other primary clinics outside Nakuru county serving mostly the informal workers in pre-urban population. The ongoing project aims to integrate eye screening project.

Target Group

In Nakuru county the project will focus to build partnership with local organized groups, such as transport association and women group where screening and referrals will be initiated. This will be done through engaging Nakuru county government, social services and executive leaders for the cooperative groups.

In Kericho county the project will be integrated within Nyaluk foundation ongoing engagement with Kericho county HIV/AIDS program, targeting the 2010 plantation workers and families.
