According to the world health organization (WHO) family planning is defined as the ability of individuals and couples to anticipate and have their desired family size and to achieve healthy spacing and timing of their births. Early Pregnancies

It’s also known as Teenage pregnancy or adolescent pregnancy. It is therefore any pregnancy before 24 years of age as per world health organization. In sub Saharan Africa, Kenya included is known for early pregnancy due to high poverty levels. Teenage pregnancy can be a crisis for a youth and her family; common reaction might include anger, guilt and denial. She might also experience anxiety, fear, shock and depression. Medical Education and Health Issues

The foundation will also outreach to the community about various health issues that affect the community. This is whereby we will inform them on various diseases and how they can be treated or controlled. To add on that we will also inform the community on reproductive health. This is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity, in all matters relating to the reproductive system and to its functions and processes. The foundation will educate the community and youths about their reproductive health.

Community Outreach

The foundation will practice the activity of providing services to informal sector, schools and colleges that might not otherwise have access to information on sexual reproductive health. The foundation will meet people in need of an outreach service at the location where they are.

Projects

The foundation currently run different projects including. Green school initiatives ( road to  5 billion trees).      Climate Action and Environmental Education.(SDG 13) This project supports Kenya's national tree growing campaign by engaging schools and youth group in tree planting, environmental education and climate action. It integrate lessons on sustainable ecosystem, biodiversity, restoration and environmental stewardship, positioning students as climate ambassadors. Mental Health Awareness and Support Health and Wellbeing (SDG 3) A community-based program aimed at improving mental health literacy, early screening, and referral for support services. the initiative trains youth mentors, teachers and peer educators to promote mental

Mental Health

The youth today are going through an epidemic that is sweeping them away. Mental health has become a whole situation going by the statistics. The youth are our future and we cannot afford to assume them anymore. Therefore as Nyaluk foundation, we have a program to help mitigate this issue.

Nyaluk Eye Care

Nyaluk foundation is a social arm of Nyaluk medical center, founded to strengthen the behavior change communication towards health seeking behavior. The Eye Care project seeks to build the already existing Nyaluk medical center gaps and limitations by championing awareness and creation of primary eye care services. Our aim is to reach other primary clinics outside Nakuru county serving mostly the informal workers in pre-urban population. The ongoing project aims to integrate eye screening project. Target Group In Nakuru county the project will focus to build partnership with local organized groups, such as transport association and women group where screening
